About Suzie
Suzie is an accomplished advocate and skilled negotiator, specialising in running large-scale complex litigation with a focus on corporate and personal insolvency, and general commercial disputes. Navigating complex regulatory frameworks and high-stakes disputes, she delivers commercial and pragmatic legal solutions for a diverse clientele, ranging from government, insolvency practitioners, public and private companies, to high-net-worth families. Suzie is particularly adept at appearing unled as a solicitor advocate in contested hearings in the superior courts.
Suzie routinely appears both for and against prominent liquidators, administrators, receivers and trustees in bankruptcy in pursuing or defending claims arising out of insolvency administrations, including claims concerning alleged voidable transactions and sales or divisions of property of bankrupt estates. Suzie has extensive experience acting for both insolvency practitioners and directors on all issues including applications to set aside statutory demands, contested winding up applications, contested creditor petitions, unfair preferences, uncommercial transactions, unreasonable director related transactions, trading whilst insolvent, breach of director duties, and conducting public examinations.
